What the extension does
Video Mosaic displays the video content of browser tabs you explicitly add, side by side in a single page. All processing happens locally in your browser.
What we collect
Nothing. Video Mosaic has no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry and no account system. We do not see which sites you visit, which videos you watch, or how you use the extension.
What is stored on your device
Your display preferences (number of columns, sound mode, quality and layout options) and whether you have purchased the one-time unlock. This is stored in your browser only, through Chrome’s storage, and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the extension removes it.
Video content
Video Mosaic reads video frames from the tabs you add in order to display them. This content is never recorded, saved to a file, or transmitted anywhere. It exists only while the wall is open, and stops when you remove a screen or close the wall.
Payments
The optional one-time purchase is handled by ExtensionPay using Stripe. If you buy the unlock, your email address and payment details are processed by those services under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details. See extensionpay.com/privacy and stripe.com/privacy.
Permissions
The extension requests access to websites so it can display videos from any site you choose. This access is only used on the tabs you explicitly add to your wall.
This website
The site itself is static and sets no cookies. We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service, to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data and does not track anyone across websites — that is why you see no cookie banner here. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested page) for a short period for security and abuse prevention; we do not use those logs to build any profile of you.
Chrome Web Store limited use
Video Mosaic’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Video Mosaic transfers no user data to any third party, other than the payment data you choose to give ExtensionPay when you buy the unlock.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA you have the right to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. We hold none. If you bought the unlock and want the email address held by ExtensionPay removed, write to contact@videomosaic.app and we will pass the request on; deletion removes the record used to restore your licence. Video Mosaic is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no personal data at all, there is nothing of theirs for us to delete.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new date. Material changes will be announced in the extension itself before they take effect.
